Theodore Palatucci
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Mr. Palatucci is a co-founder, partner and portfolio manager at Andres Capital and a frequent contributor to the Andres Review. Ted has played a leading role in the Municipal industry for more than 40 years. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1981 as Municipal Bond Product Manager. Three years later he was named Managing Director and assumed responsibility for the firm’s national municipal bond trading and underwriting desks. He was also a member of Merrill’s risk management committee. Ted manages all Andres Capital’s municipal bond portfolio activity and acts as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer.
Active in the local investment community, Ted served in a number of roles in the Philadelphia Bond Club including acting as president and as a long standing member of the organization’s advisory board. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Municipal Bond Museum and serves as that organization’s treasurer. As an industry leader, Mr. Palatucci played an instrumental role in the development of the interest rate swaps market and worked closely with the Chicago Board of Trade in the development of the municipal bond futures contract.
Palatucci is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. degree and is a veteran of the Vietnam conflict where he served as a carrier-based aviator.
